Accessibility
BackHome should work for everyone in the family: with a screen reader, from the keyboard, with larger text, in English or Farsi.
Where we are
We aim to meet WCAG 2.2 at level AA, the international standard for accessible websites, on this website, in the app and in our Telegram bots. Today they partly meet it. We checked all three on 22 October 2026 and are fixing what we found, the most serious first.
What works
- You can zoom the website and the app, including pinch-zoom on phones.
- Booking, your orders and signing in work from the keyboard and with a screen reader.
- Text has enough contrast to read, including over photos.
- Every page says which language it is in, so a screen reader reads Farsi as Farsi.
- Every message that asks you to confirm an order names the order and the service.
What doesn't work well yet
- In the app, screens have no headings to move between, and the browser tab always reads “BackHome”.
- In our Telegram bots, some messages use emoji instead of words as labels, and Farsi messages mix Persian and Latin digits and English dates.
- Some error messages appear in English on Farsi screens.
- Some wide tables and lists can't be scrolled sideways with the keyboard in Safari.
Tell us about a barrier
If something on BackHome doesn't work for you, or you need information another way, email us. Tell us the page or message and what happened. We'll reply within 2 working days, and where we can, we'll help you finish what you were doing another way.
About this statement
